We have a roof!

Starting to look like a real house with part of the roof up.....we still need to build the 'skirt' roof in front that will cover the front porch....but it is starting to really take shape.

Getting the Trusses Installed....

Here are a few updates since they raised the trusses and completed more framing.....

The crew was busy late last week jockeying the trusses and getting them up on the roof with a crane....

Top floor framed.....

We went over to the house on Saturday afternoon and the crew was hard at work framing the top floor. Here are a couple shots of them raising the east facing walls.  They are targeting mid week for the roof trusses.

The joists on the top floor are in and they built the stairway today.....we continue to make good progress.

Framing the main floor....

The framing crew made good progress this week, essentially framing the main floor.  Here is the progress night by night.....

Logan, Collin and I went to inspect Wednesday evening.....east and south walls up....

Collin and Braden had a piano recital on Friday night, so here is Friday's progress as of Saturday morning.  Main floor mostly framed!

From the dock you can tell I mowed the lawn Saturday morning.  All those years of mowing lawns as a teenager are paying off!  It is a pleasure to mow this lawn!
