It's not the grand canyon...it's the garage hole!

We finally had to haul off some dirt as the excavators ran out of room to put dirt.  This week was spent digging out the hole for the garage.  Here are a few pictures of the progress....

Backfilling around March weather....

Over the past week we have had just about every kind of weather, and a couple very rainy days which slowed our progress.  Here are some pictures on various weather days....

Over the weekend, we had good sunny weather that dried the site out....so today they were able to make good progress again.....we are hoping to pour the footings for the garage this week...as you will see below, the basement of the house is about ready for the floor to be poured.

The middle of the week was rainy here in Seattle, but by Thursday and Friday it felt like baseball weather with clear sunny skies.....

The crew was busy preparing the forms for the walls....we are ready to pour concrete Monday.....

Footings Poured

We checked out the footing forms Thursday night......

The footings went in Friday 3/1....Happy Birthday Shelli!  We went to check them out Saturday morning.....
